Ways to Make Your High-Rise Condo Feel Like Home

If you’ve bought or are thinking about buying a high-rise condo, being what feels like miles above the ground may be unfamiliar and different than what you’re used to in your first home. If this is your case and you’re looking to make your high-rise condo feel like home, here are five ways to do exactly that.

Add scents that make sense

A quick and easy way to make your new high-rise feel more like home is to add scents that remind you of such with candles or air fresheners.

Include sentimental items

Personal items and pieces of your past are bound to mean a lot to you. They should be displayed prominently in your new high-rise to create a more meaningful area that feels more like you. Display your favorite pieces of art and photos of your family proudly in your new space.

Show more of the floor

No matter what floor you have in your high-rise condo, adding a large textured rug in areas where you’ll be relaxing like your den, great room or master bedroom is a great way to add a little warmth and comfort to your space. You can infuse your personality into this as well by adding a rug with a pattern or pops of color.

Avoid unnecessary distractions

Chances are your new high-rise condo has mesmerizing views and floor-to-ceiling windows. To fully take in your new space and claim it as your new home, avoid unnecessary distractions like bulky furniture and instead go for a more modern and straightforward design. With no distractions, you’ll be able to take in your breathtaking view day in and day out.

To date, Ronto has processed sales contracts worth more than $105 million and the building is more than 40% sold.  Site work is underway.  The clean-lined tower will feature 67 residences, including 63 spacious tower residences and four penthouses, three of which have been sold.  Pre-construction pricing for the tower residences that offer a stunning 4,645 square feet or 4,210 square feet under air and expansive views 78-feet or 68-feet wide starts at $2.3 million and is available for a limited time. Homebuyers are encouraged to make their purchase decisions soon.  The Omega tower is designed to provide the newest and largest luxury high-rise residences in Southwest Florida and will be the final luxury high-rise tower to be built at Bonita Bay.

The sheer size of the Omega residences and a comprehensive array of amenities offer tremendous value.  Residents of the Omega tower will enjoy amenities both within the building and through various membership opportunities with the Bonita Bay Club.  The building offers 18,000 square feet of interior amenities, an expansive outdoor amenity deck featuring a resort-style pool, and a 4,200 square foot rooftop terrace common area.  The indoor and outdoor amenities will be integrated to provide a spectacular indoor/outdoor experience.  The building’s lobby will offer a view of a grand salon that, as planned, will feature a living room-like setting with couches, side chairs, a cocktail table, and see-through views of a covered terrace and the outdoor amenity deck.  The entry lobby and grand salon will lead to a 600 square-foot library and card room and to a 750 square-foot billiards and game room.

The south side of the building will feature a social room measuring more than 3,000 square feet.  Tall windows will offer long-range views to the south and west.  The social room will include a bar, a linear fireplace, and a full kitchen that can be used by residents and caterers for special events.  Double doors will open to the outdoor amenity deck.  Omega’s 600 square-foot theater will be situated off the social room and offer plush couches and chaises to enhance the movie viewing experience.  Three guest suites will be located on the north side of the building to accommodate out-of-town visitors.  A 2,100 square-foot fitness center will also be located on the north side of the building.  Like the social room, tall windows in the fitness room will offer long-range views, this time to the north and west.  Cottages on garage level two and six poolside cabanas are available for purchase by Omega residents.

Located on the building’s second level, Omega’s outdoor amenity deck will provide views to the south and west.  Contemporary glass railings will line the deck’s curved perimeter and overlook one of Bonita Bay’s three on-property golf courses.  A pool with a beach entry and two sun shelves that will each include six chaise lounges and built-in benches will serve as the centerpiece of the amenity deck.  A pool pavilion with an open-air bar, seating areas, and restrooms will offer a gathering place.  Bar-b-que grills will be situated adjacent to the pavilion.  Seating areas will be available at various places on the amenity deck, including sunset viewing areas, and a fire pit terrace with seating.  Poolside day beds, referred to as “pool cocoons,” will be placed around the pool and feature retractable tops.  Day cabanas will be available on a first come, first served basis.  A whirlpool spa will be situated under an attractive trellis.

Omega’s 4,200 square foot rooftop terrace common area will include hot tubs positioned next to the terraces’ glass railing, allowing residents to relax while enjoying breathtaking water and sunset views.  Firepit seating areas behind the tubs, along with an even larger fire table seating area complete with lounges, club chairs and sofas, will provide abundant seating to ensure all residents can enjoy the captivating ambiance.  Restrooms, a large kitchen area for catering, and a separate bar area will complete the spectacular setting.
