Six Beach Condo Décor Ideas for the Summer

Not only is summer right around the corner, but Omega Bonita Bay is the perfect spot to enjoy water views all season long. If you are planning on making Omega your summer – or seasonal — getaway, you need to make sure your condo is fully accented with décor that embraces your waterfront location so that every day is a good day spent living on the water.

Furniture

Although your summer plans may include a lot of beach time, you will need something to lounge on in your home. When furnishing a waterfront condo, think of the atmosphere you want to create. Use your furniture to illustrate those feelings. Whether it be lightly colored furniture to match the brightness of your home or even upholstery accents to match the yellow or blue of the Florida landscape, be sure to use the furniture in your Omega condo to reflect the paradise lifestyle found in Southwest Florida.

Omega Residence 2 Living

Artwork

In a beach home, your eyes may be drawn to the windows. Especially in Omega Bonita Bay, where the views are breathtaking, there will be times when you can’t take your eyes off the Southwest Florida landscape. In that case, when you do find your eyes wandering, draw them to luxurious artwork on your walls. When thinking of waterfront décor ideas, continue the relaxing outdoor vibe by bringing the tranquil outdoor environment inside. Pictures of water, sand, sailing boats, dolphins playing, and the list goes on. Or perhaps consider mounting personal photographs you have taken to give your home that truly personal touch. This will give you a reason to keep taking sunset photos as you turn every view in your home into a water view.

Floral Decor

When picking out décor for your condo, make sure to add floral touches that match the views of your home. In Bonita Bay, your Omega condo overlooks the gorgeous landscape of the Gulf of Mexico. Highlight the bay’s artistic mangroves and lush treetops by bringing in green bamboo plants, palms, or other plant life into your home, all of which serves to bring the outside in.

Omega Residence 3 Office

Flooring

At Omega Bonita Bay each of our condos offers a selection of porcelain “modern” tiles, wood and stone flooring for design, luxury and durability. In a summer home, your floor will see its fair share of sand, water and wear-and-tear so hardwood flooring may be your best bet. You can also add simple area rugs to add to the color and texture in your beach home. Rugs won’t detract from the water views and will be perfect for your home away from home.

Lanai

When thinking of summer décor don’t neglect the lanai. Lanais allow you to experience the outside, without leaving the comfort of your home. Therefore, specific outdoor décor on your lanai can enhance the beachy feel of your waterfront home.

At Omega, each lanai has premier views of Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico and summer breezes to keep you cool all year long. Plus, we offer a courtesy shuttle ride to our private access beach at Little Hickory Island. To enjoy all the amenities Omega has to offer, visit our website or call today at 239-301-4940.
